Erin is a recent English Literature graduate from Durham University, where she developed particular interests in postcolonial and feminist literature. Her dissertation explored birth as a site of severance and connection to the past, focusing on Black mothers in 20th century American fiction. She runs a bookish blog and Bookstagram (@bold_.type._reviews) where she writes about the unexpected connections she finds between seemingly unrelated books. Passionate about making reading accessible, Erin keeps her content light and volunteers with the literacy charity Bookmark. When she’s not reading or writing, you’ll find her playing football, canoe polo or hockey – or crocheting her next project… No, she does not like to sit still! She’s hoping to build a career in literary marketing and publicity.
