Amber is a recent history graduate from QMUL, with a particular interest in women’s history and literature. Her dissertation explored her great-grandmother’s emigration from Ireland to postwar London, using oral histories and personal narratives to examine questions of agency in work and motherhood. Alongside her academic work, she has developed editorial experience as a copyeditor for the QM History Journal and through her Internship at Oxford Moon. Amber is passionate about storytelling that recovers women’s voices and challenges dominant historical narratives.
