October 4th was publication day, after a long two year wait in the publisher queue, for Lynn Michell’s third novel, The Red Beach Hut. Over on her blog, she talks about her reluctance to let it go and her nerves as it goes on display to both kind and critical eyes.
Of her three novels, this is her favourite, perhaps because of her attachment to Neville, her child protagonist, perhaps because of the political themes quietly exposed beneath the story.
