As we watch Spring blossom around us, Edinburgh-based independent publisher Linen Press is seeking outstanding, original short fiction and non-fiction submissions for its first ever short story competition. Dedicated to representing the female voice, Linen Press publishes novels and memoirs that grapple with the challenges, issues, and joys of contemporary womanhood. Writers of all stages are invited to send us their work.
Two finalists will be selected and published on our brand new website, the first contributors to an archive of brilliant short stories Linen Press plans to digitally publish in its effort to promote and nurture original female creative voices. Three runners-up will be offered the opportunity for their entries to undergo a detailed critique by the LP editorial team.
We look forward to reading your work. Happy writing!
