Ali Bacon at the Undiscovered Dunfermline event
In a new article, Linen Press’s latest signing Ali Bacon shares her experience of returning to her home town of Dunfermline, a town once famed — quite fittingly — for its linen industry.
Ali, whose historical novel In the Blink of an Eye is due to be published by Linen Press early next year, was invited to participate in a Dunfermline Heritage Community Projects event Undiscovered Dunfermline. Ali writes that she was “delighted” to be invited to talk about Victorian pioneer photographer David Octavius Hill, one of Dunfermline’s historical heroes and subject of her new book.
