INTERN

Sarah is a recent History graduate of Exeter University who hopes to pursue her passion for literature through a career in publishing. While at University her main research projects focused on highlighting women of the past, especially the struggles of marginalised women. This ranged from a dissertation on humour within the British Second-Wave Feminist Movement to Sixteenth-Century expressions of Protestant piety. It was from a ‘Feminist Political Theory’ module however that sparked an interest in bringing intersectional and diverse voices to the fore in the media, which she is excited to contribute to at Linen Press.

Sarah enjoys going to the theatre and reading texts with strong complex female characters, and running after her three mischievous nephews.
